Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 152
-
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا الْعِجْلَ سَيَنَالُهُمْ غَضَبٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَذِلَّةٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُفْتَرِينَ
Translation by words
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ٱتَّخَذُوا۟
- took
- ٱلْعِجْلَ
- the calf,
- سَيَنَالُهُمْ
- will reach them
- غَضَبٌ
- wrath
- مِّن
- from
- رَّبِّهِمْ
- their Lord,
- وَذِلَّةٌ
- and humiliation
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
- the life
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world.
- وَكَذَٰلِكَ
- And thus
- نَجْزِى
- We recompense
- ٱلْمُفْتَرِينَ
- the ones who invent (falsehood).
Indeed, those who took the calf (for worship) will obtain anger from their Lord and humiliation in the life of this world, and thus do We recompense the inventors (of falsehood).
7:152
