Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 154

  1. وَلَمَّا سَكَتَ عَنْ مُوسَى الْغَضَبُ أَخَذَ الْأَلْوَاحَ ۖ وَفِي نُسْخَتِهَا هُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِرَبِّهِمْ يَرْهَبُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَلَمَّا
    And when
    سَكَتَ
    was calmed
    عَن
    from
    مُّوسَى
    Musa
    ٱلْغَضَبُ
    the anger,
    أَخَذَ
    he took (up)
    ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ
    the tablets
    وَفِى
    and in
    نُسْخَتِهَا
    their inscription
    هُدًى
    (was) guidance
    وَرَحْمَةٌ
    and mercy
    لِّلَّذِينَ
    for those who
    هُمْ
    [they]
    لِرَبِّهِمْ
    of their Lord
    يَرْهَبُونَ
    (are) fearful.

    And when the anger subsided in Moses, he took up the tablets; and in their inscription was guidance and mercy for those who are fearful of their Lord.
