Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 17
-
ثُمَّ لَآتِيَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَعَنْ شَمَائِلِهِمْ ۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شَاكِرِينَ
Translation by words
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- لَءَاتِيَنَّهُم
- surely, I will come to them
- مِّنۢ
- from
- بَيْنِ
- before
- أَيْدِيهِمْ
- them
- وَمِنْ
- and from
- خَلْفِهِمْ
- behind them
- وَعَنْ
- and from
- أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ
- their right
- وَعَن
- and from
- شَمَآئِلِهِمْ
- their left,
- وَلَا
- and not
- تَجِدُ
- You (will) find
- أَكْثَرَهُمْ
- most of them
- شَٰكِرِينَ
- grateful."
Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful (to You)."
