Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 177

1. سَاءَ مَثَلًا الْقَوْمُ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَأَنْفُسَهُمْ كَانُوا يَظْلِمُونَ

   Translation by words

   سَآءَ

   Evil

   مَثَلًا

   (as) an example

   ٱلْقَوْمُ

   (are) the people

   ٱلَّذِينَ

   those who

   كَذَّبُوا۟

   denied

   بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا

   Our Signs

   وَأَنفُسَهُمْ

   and themselves

   كَانُوا۟

   they used to

   يَظْلِمُونَ

   wrong.

   How evil an example (is that of) the people who denied Our signs and used to wrong themselves.
