Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 193

  1. وَإِنْ تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَىٰ لَا يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ ۚ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ أَمْ أَنْتُمْ صَامِتُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِن
    And if
    تَدْعُوهُمْ
    you call them
    إِلَى
    to
    ٱلْهُدَىٰ
    the guidance,
    لَا
    not
    يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ
    will they follow you.
    سَوَآءٌ
    (It is) same
    عَلَيْكُمْ
    for you
    أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ
    whether you call them
    أَمْ
    or
    أَنتُمْ
    you
    صَٰمِتُونَ
    remain silent.

    And if you (believers) invite them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is all the same for you whether you invite them or you are silent.
