Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 63

  1. أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَنْ جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنْكُمْ لِيُنْذِرَكُمْ وَلِتَتَّقُوا وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

    Translation by words

    أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ
    Do you wonder
    أَن
    that
    جَآءَكُمْ
    has come to you
    ذِكْرٌ
    a reminder
    مِّن
    from
    رَّبِّكُمْ
    your Lord
    عَلَىٰ
    on
    رَجُلٍ
    a man
    مِّنكُمْ
    among you,
    لِيُنذِرَكُمْ
    that he may warn you
    وَلِتَتَّقُوا۟
    and that you may fear,
    وَلَعَلَّكُمْ
    and so that you may
    تُرْحَمُونَ
    receive mercy."

    Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy."
