Sura 98 Al-Bayyinah (The Evidence), ayah 4

  1. وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

    Translation by words

    وَمَا
    And not
    تَفَرَّقَ
    became divided
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    those who
    أُوتُوا۟
    were given
    ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
    the Book,
    إِلَّا
    until
    مِنۢ
    from
    بَعْدِ
    after
    مَا
    what
    جَآءَتْهُمُ
    came (to) them
    ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
    (of) the clear evidence.

    Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.

    98:4
