Sura 98 Al-Bayyinah (The Evidence), ayah 5

  1. وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ

    Translation by words

    وَمَآ
    And not
    أُمِرُوٓا۟
    they were commanded
    إِلَّا
    except
    لِيَعْبُدُوا۟
    to worship
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    مُخْلِصِينَ
    (being) sincere
    لَهُ
    to Him
    ٱلدِّينَ
    (in) the religion,
    حُنَفَآءَ
    upright,
    وَيُقِيمُوا۟
    and to establish
    ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
    the prayer,
    وَيُؤْتُوا۟
    and to give
    ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
    the zakah
    وَذَٰلِكَ
    And that
    دِينُ
    (is the) religion
    ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ
    the correct.

    And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, (being) sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.
