Sura 12 Yusuf (Joseph), ayah 4
-
إِذْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ رَأَيْتُهُمْ لِي سَاجِدِينَ
Translation by words

- Yusuf
- لِأَبِيهِ
- to his father,
- يَٰٓأَبَتِ
- "O my father!
- إِنِّى
- Indeed, I
- رَأَيْتُ
- I saw
- أَحَدَ
- eleven
- عَشَرَ
- eleven
- كَوْكَبًا
- stars
- وَٱلشَّمْسَ
- and the sun
- وَٱلْقَمَرَ
- and the moon;
- رَأَيْتُهُمْ
- I saw them
- لِى
- to me
- سَٰجِدِينَ
- prostrating."
(Of these stories mention) when Joseph said to his father, "O my father, indeed I have seen (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me."
