Sura 12 Yusuf (Joseph), ayah 44

1. قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلَامٍ ۖ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَأْوِيلِ الْأَحْلَامِ بِعَالِمِينَ

   Translation by words

   قَالُوٓا۟

   They said,

   أَضْغَٰثُ

   "Confused

   أَحْلَٰمٍ

   dreams,

   وَمَا

   and not

   نَحْنُ

   we

   بِتَأْوِيلِ

   (are) in the interpretation

   ٱلْأَحْلَٰمِ

   (of) the dreams

   بِعَٰلِمِينَ

   learned."

   They said, "(It is but) a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams."

   12:44
