Sura 12 Yusuf (Joseph), ayah 52

1. ذَٰلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخُنْهُ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي كَيْدَ الْخَائِنِينَ

   Translation by words

   ذَٰلِكَ

   That

   لِيَعْلَمَ

   he may know

   أَنِّى

   that I

   لَمْ

   not

   أَخُنْهُ

   [I] betray him

   بِٱلْغَيْبِ

   in secret,

   وَأَنَّ

   and that

   ٱللَّهَ

   Allah

   لَا

   (does) not

   يَهْدِى

   guide

   كَيْدَ

   (the) plan

   ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ

   (of) the betrayers."

   That is so al-'Azeez will know that I did not betray him in (his) absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers.
