Sura 12 Yusuf (Joseph), ayah 82
-
وَاسْأَلِ الْقَرْيَةَ الَّتِي كُنَّا فِيهَا وَالْعِيرَ الَّتِي أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا ۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
Translation by words
- وَسْـَٔلِ
- And ask
- ٱلْقَرْيَةَ
- the town
- ٱلَّتِى
- where
- كُنَّا
- we were
- فِيهَا
- [in it],
- وَٱلْعِيرَ
- and the caravan
- ٱلَّتِىٓ
- which
- أَقْبَلْنَا
- we returned
- فِيهَا
- [in it].
- وَإِنَّا
- And indeed, we
- لَصَٰدِقُونَ
- surely (are) truthful.'"
And ask the city in which we were and the caravan in which we came - and indeed, we are truthful,"
