Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 19

1. وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الْآخِرَةَ وَسَعَىٰ لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُمْ مَشْكُورًا

   Translation by words

   وَمَنْ

   And whoever

   أَرَادَ

   desires

   ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ

   the Hereafter

   وَسَعَىٰ

   and exerts

   لَهَا

   for it

   سَعْيَهَا

   the effort,

   وَهُوَ

   while he

   مُؤْمِنٌ

   (is) a believer,

   فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ

   then those

   كَانَ

   [are]

   سَعْيُهُم

   their effort,

   مَّشْكُورًا

   (is) appreciated.

   But whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effort due to it while he is a believer - it is those whose effort is ever appreciated (by Allah).
