Sura 18 Al-Kahf (The Cave), ayah 2

قَيِّمًا لِيُنْذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِنْ لَدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا
Translation by words
- قَيِّمًا
- Straight,
- لِّيُنذِرَ
- to warn
- بَأْسًا
- (of) a punishment
- شَدِيدًا
- severe,
- مِّن
- from
- لَّدُنْهُ
- near Him,
- وَيُبَشِّرَ
- and give glad tidings
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- (to) the believers,
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- يَعْمَلُونَ
- do
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds,
- أَنَّ
- that
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- أَجْرًا
- (is) a good reward.
- حَسَنًا
- (is) a good reward.
(He has made it) straight, to warn of severe punishment from Him and to give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward
