Sura 18 Al-Kahf (The Cave), ayah 39

  1. وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ إِنْ تَرَنِ أَنَا أَقَلَّ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا

    Translation by words

    وَلَوْلَآ
    And why (did you) not,
    إِذْ
    when
    دَخَلْتَ
    you entered
    جَنَّتَكَ
    your garden
    قُلْتَ
    say,
    مَا
    "What
    شَآءَ
    wills
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah;
    لَا
    (there is) no
    قُوَّةَ
    power
    إِلَّا
    except
    بِٱللَّهِ
    with Allah."
    إِن
    If
    تَرَنِ
    you see me
    أَنَا۠
    (me)
    أَقَلَّ
    lesser
    مِنكَ
    than you
    مَالًا
    (in) wealth
    وَوَلَدًا
    and children,

    And why did you, when you entered your garden, not say, 'What Allah willed (has occurred); there is no power except in Allah '? Although you see me less than you in wealth and children,
