Sura 19 Maryam, ayah 28

يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
Translation by words
- يَٰٓأُخْتَ
- O sister
- هَٰرُونَ
- (of) Harun!

- كَانَ

- أَبُوكِ
- your father
- ٱمْرَأَ
- an evil man,
- سَوْءٍ
- an evil man,
- وَمَا
- and not
- كَانَتْ
- was
- أُمُّكِ
- your mother
- بَغِيًّا
- unchaste."
O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."
