Sura 19 Maryam, ayah 54
-
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَبِيًّا
Translation by words
- وَٱذْكُرْ
- And mention
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- the Book,
- إِسْمَٰعِيلَ
- Ishmael.
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed, he
- كَانَ
- was
- صَادِقَ
- true
- ٱلْوَعْدِ
- (to his) promise
- وَكَانَ
- and was
- رَسُولًا
- a Messenger -
- نَّبِيًّا
- a Prophet.
And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet.
