Sura 19 Maryam, ayah 55

وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ وَكَانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ مَرْضِيًّا
Translation by words
- وَكَانَ
- And he used
- يَأْمُرُ
- (to) enjoin
- أَهْلَهُۥ
- (on) his people
- بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
- the prayer
- وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ
- and zakah
- وَكَانَ
- and was
- عِندَ
- near
- رَبِّهِۦ
- his Lord
- مَرْضِيًّا
- pleasing.
And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing.
