Sura 19 Maryam, ayah 74

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَاثًا وَرِئْيًا
Translation by words
- وَكَمْ
- And how many
- أَهْلَكْنَا
- We destroyed
- قَبْلَهُم
- before them
- مِّن
- of
- قَرْنٍ
- a generation -
- هُمْ
- they
- أَحْسَنُ
- (were) better
- أَثَٰثًا
- (in) possessions
- وَرِءْيًا
- and appearance?
And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and (outward) appearance?
