Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 18

  1. بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ ۚ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ

    Translation by words

    بَلْ
    Nay,
    نَقْذِفُ
    We hurl
    بِٱلْحَقِّ
    the truth
    عَلَى
    against
    ٱلْبَٰطِلِ
    [the] falsehood,
    فَيَدْمَغُهُۥ
    and it breaks its head,
    فَإِذَا
    behold,
    هُوَ
    it (is)
    زَاهِقٌ
    vanishing.
    وَلَكُمُ
    And for you
    ٱلْوَيْلُ
    (is) destruction
    مِمَّا
    for what
    تَصِفُونَ
    you ascribe.

    Rather, We dash the truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it, and thereupon it departs. And for you is destruction from that which you describe.
