Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 7

  1. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَمَآ
    And not
    أَرْسَلْنَا
    We sent
    قَبْلَكَ
    before you
    إِلَّا
    except
    رِجَالًا
    men,
    نُّوحِىٓ
    We revealed
    إِلَيْهِمْ
    to them.
    فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟
    So ask
    أَهْلَ
    (the) people
    ٱلذِّكْرِ
    (of) the Reminder,
    إِن
    if
    كُنتُمْ
    you
    لَا
    (do) not
    تَعْلَمُونَ
    know.

    And We sent not before you, (O Muhammad), except men to whom We revealed (the message), so ask the people of the message if you do not know.
