Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 89

  1. وَزَكَرِيَّا إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَزَكَرِيَّآ
    And Zakariya,
    إِذْ
    when
    نَادَىٰ
    he called
    رَبَّهُۥ
    (to) his Lord,
    رَبِّ
    "My Lord!
    لَا
    (Do) not
    تَذَرْنِى
    leave me
    فَرْدًا
    alone,
    وَأَنتَ
    while You
    خَيْرُ
    (are) [the] Best
    ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
    (of) the inheritors."

    And (mention) Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone (with no heir), while you are the best of inheritors."

    21:89
