Sura 22 Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage), ayah 35
-
الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ عَلَىٰ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ وَالْمُقِيمِي الصَّلَاةِ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ
Translation by words
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those
- إِذَا
- when
- ذُكِرَ
- is mentioned
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah -
- وَجِلَتْ
- fear
- قُلُوبُهُمْ
- their hearts,
- وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
- and those who are patient
- عَلَىٰ
- over
- مَآ
- whatever
- أَصَابَهُمْ
- has afflicted them,
- وَٱلْمُقِيمِى
- and those who establish
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
- the prayer,
- وَمِمَّا
- and out of what
- رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ
- We have provided them
- يُنفِقُونَ
- they spend.
Who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and (to) the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them.
22:35
Translation: Saheeh International
