Sura 22 Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage), ayah 39

  1. أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ

    Translation by words

    أُذِنَ
    Permission is given
    لِلَّذِينَ
    to those who
    يُقَٰتَلُونَ
    are being fought
    بِأَنَّهُمْ
    because they
    ظُلِمُوا۟
    were wronged.
    وَإِنَّ
    And indeed,
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    عَلَىٰ
    for
    نَصْرِهِمْ
    their victory
    لَقَدِيرٌ
    (is) surely Able.

    Permission (to fight) has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory.
