Sura 22 Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage), ayah 53

  1. لِيَجْعَلَ مَا يُلْقِي الشَّيْطَانُ فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَالْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَفِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ

    Translation by words

    لِّيَجْعَلَ
    That He may make
    مَا
    what
    يُلْقِى
    the Shaitaan throws
    ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
    the Shaitaan throws
    فِتْنَةً
    a trial
    لِّلَّذِينَ
    for those
    فِى
    in
    قُلُوبِهِم
    their hearts
    مَّرَضٌ
    (is) a disease,
    وَٱلْقَاسِيَةِ
    and (are) hardened
    قُلُوبُهُمْ
    their hearts.
    وَإِنَّ
    And indeed,
    ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
    the wrongdoers
    لَفِى
    (are) surely, in
    شِقَاقٍۭ
    schism
    بَعِيدٍ
    far.

    (That is) so He may make what Satan throws in a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension.
