Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 8
-
أَوْ يُلْقَىٰ إِلَيْهِ كَنْزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَقَالَ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنْ تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَسْحُورًا
Translation by words
- أَوْ
- Or
- يُلْقَىٰٓ
- is delivered
- إِلَيْهِ
- to him
- كَنزٌ
- a treasure
- أَوْ
- or
- تَكُونُ
- is
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- جَنَّةٌ
- a garden,
- يَأْكُلُ
- he may eat
- مِنْهَا
- from it?
- وَقَالَ
- And say
- ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
- the wrongdoers,
- إِن
- "Not
- تَتَّبِعُونَ
- you follow
- إِلَّا
- but
- رَجُلًا
- a man
- مَّسْحُورًا
- bewitched."
Or (why is not) a treasure presented to him (from heaven), or does he (not) have a garden from which he eats?" And the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."
25:8
Translation: Saheeh International
