Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 54
-
أُولَٰئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ
Translation by words
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- يُؤْتَوْنَ
- will be given
- أَجْرَهُم
- their reward
- مَّرَّتَيْنِ
- twice
- بِمَا
- because
- صَبَرُوا۟
- they are patient
- وَيَدْرَءُونَ
- and they repel
- بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ
- with good -
- ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ
- the evil
- وَمِمَّا
- and from what
- رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ
- We have provided them
- يُنفِقُونَ
- they spend.
Those will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured and (because) they avert evil through good, and from what We have provided them they spend.
