Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 205

  1. وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ الْحَرْثَ وَالنَّسْلَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَسَادَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذَا
    And when
    تَوَلَّىٰ
    he turns away
    سَعَىٰ
    he strives
    فِى
    in
    ٱلْأَرْضِ
    the earth
    لِيُفْسِدَ
    to spread corruption
    فِيهَا
    [in it],
    وَيُهْلِكَ
    and destroys
    ٱلْحَرْثَ
    the crops
    وَٱلنَّسْلَ
    and progeny.
    وَٱللَّهُ
    And Allah
    لَا
    (does) not
    يُحِبُّ
    love
    ٱلْفَسَادَ
    [the] corruption.

    And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption.
