Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 62
-
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالنَّصَارَىٰ وَالصَّابِئِينَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Translation by words
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believed
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those who
- هَادُوا۟
- became Jews
- وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ
- and the Christians
- وَٱلصَّٰبِـِٔينَ
- and the Sabians -
- مَنْ
- who
- ءَامَنَ
- believed
- بِٱللَّهِ
- in Allah
- وَٱلْيَوْمِ
- and the Day
- ٱلْءَاخِرِ
- [the] Last
- وَعَمِلَ
- and did
- صَٰلِحًا
- righteous deeds,
- فَلَهُمْ
- so for them
- أَجْرُهُمْ
- their reward
- عِندَ
- (is) with
- رَبِّهِمْ
- their Lord
- وَلَا
- and no
- خَوْفٌ
- fear
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- on them
- وَلَا
- and not
- هُمْ
- they
- يَحْزَنُونَ
- will grieve.
Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans (before Prophet Muhammad) - those (among them) who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
