Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 66

1. فَجَعَلْنَاهَا نَكَالًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

   Translation by words

   فَجَعَلْنَٰهَا

   So We made it

   نَكَٰلًا

   a deterrent punishment

   لِّمَا

   for those

   بَيْنَ

   (in) front

   يَدَيْهَا

   (of) them

   وَمَا

   and those

   خَلْفَهَا

   after them

   وَمَوْعِظَةً

   and an admonition

   لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

   for those who fear (Allah).

   And We made it a deterrent punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded (them) and a lesson for those who fear Allah.

   2:66
