Sura 36 Ya-Sin (Ya Sin), ayah 28

  1. وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَمَآ
    And not
    أَنزَلْنَا
    We sent down
    عَلَىٰ
    upon
    قَوْمِهِۦ
    his people
    مِنۢ
    after him
    بَعْدِهِۦ
    after him
    مِن
    any
    جُندٍ
    host
    مِّنَ
    from
    ٱلسَّمَآءِ
    the heaven,
    وَمَا
    and not
    كُنَّا
    were We
    مُنزِلِينَ
    (to) send down.

    And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.

    36:28
