Sura 36 Ya-Sin (Ya Sin), ayah 29

  1. إِنْ كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ

    Translation by words

    إِن
    Not
    كَانَتْ
    it was
    إِلَّا
    but
    صَيْحَةً
    a shout
    وَٰحِدَةً
    one
    فَإِذَا
    then behold!
    هُمْ
    They
    خَٰمِدُونَ
    (were) extinguished.

    It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished.

    36:29
