Sura 36 Ya-Sin (Ya Sin), ayah 37

  1. وَآيَةٌ لَهُمُ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُمْ مُظْلِمُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَءَايَةٌ
    And a Sign
    لَّهُمُ
    for them
    ٱلَّيْلُ
    (is) the night.
    نَسْلَخُ
    We withdraw
    مِنْهُ
    from it
    ٱلنَّهَارَ
    the day.
    فَإِذَا
    Then behold!
    هُم
    They
    مُّظْلِمُونَ
    (are) those in darkness.

    And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it (the light of) day, so they are (left) in darkness.
