Sura 36 Ya-Sin (Ya Sin), ayah 39
-
وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدِيمِ
Translation by words
- وَٱلْقَمَرَ
- And the moon -
- قَدَّرْنَٰهُ
- We have ordained for it
- مَنَازِلَ
- phases
- حَتَّىٰ
- until,
- عَادَ
- it returns
- كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ
- like the date stalk,
- ٱلْقَدِيمِ
- the old.
And the moon - We have determined for it phases, until it returns (appearing) like the old date stalk.
36:39
Translation: Saheeh International
