Sura 36 Ya-Sin (Ya Sin), ayah 60

  1. أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَنْ لَا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ

    Translation by words

    أَلَمْ
    Did not
    أَعْهَدْ
    I enjoin
    إِلَيْكُمْ
    upon you
    يَٰبَنِىٓ
    O Children of Adam!
    ءَادَمَ
    O Children of Adam!
    أَن
    That
    لَّا
    (do) not
    تَعْبُدُوا۟
    worship
    ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ
    the Shaitaan,
    إِنَّهُۥ
    indeed, he
    لَكُمْ
    (is) for you
    عَدُوٌّ
    an enemy
    مُّبِينٌ
    clear,

    Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - (for) indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -

    36:60
