Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 70

  1. يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ

    Translation by words

    يَٰٓأَهْلَ
    O People
    ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
    (of) the Book!
    لِمَ
    Why do
    تَكْفُرُونَ
    you deny
    بِـَٔايَٰتِ
    [in] the Signs
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah
    وَأَنتُمْ
    while you
    تَشْهَدُونَ
    bear witness?

    O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while you witness (to their truth)?

    3:70
