Sura 46 Al-Ahqaf (The Wind - Curved Sandhills), ayah 3

  1. مَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَمَّا أُنْذِرُوا مُعْرِضُونَ

    Translation by words

    مَا
    Not
    خَلَقْنَا
    We created
    ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
    the heavens
    وَٱلْأَرْضَ
    and the earth
    وَمَا
    and what
    بَيْنَهُمَآ
    (is) between both of them
    إِلَّا
    except
    بِٱلْحَقِّ
    in truth
    وَأَجَلٍ
    and (for) a term
    مُّسَمًّى
    appointed.
    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    But those who
    كَفَرُوا۟
    disbelieve,
    عَمَّآ
    from what
    أُنذِرُوا۟
    they are warned,
    مُعْرِضُونَ
    (are) turning away.

    We did not create the heavens and earth and what is between them except in truth and (for) a specified term. But those who disbelieve, from that of which they are warned, are turning away.
