Sura 46 Al-Ahqaf (The Wind - Curved Sandhills), ayah 34
-
وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَلَيْسَ هَٰذَا بِالْحَقِّ ۖ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَا ۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
Translation by words
- وَيَوْمَ
- And (the) Day,
- يُعْرَضُ
- are exposed
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- عَلَى
- to
- ٱلنَّارِ
- the Fire,
- أَلَيْسَ
- "Is not
- هَٰذَا
- this
- بِٱلْحَقِّ
- the truth?"
- قَالُوا۟
- They will say,
- بَلَىٰ
- "Yes
- وَرَبِّنَا
- by our Lord."
- قَالَ
- He will say,
- فَذُوقُوا۟
- "Then taste
- ٱلْعَذَابَ
- the punishment
- بِمَا
- because
- كُنتُمْ
- you used to
- تَكْفُرُونَ
- disbelieve."
And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire (it will be said), "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will say, "Then taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."
46:34
