Sura 4 An-Nisa (The Women), ayah 104

  1. وَلَا تَهِنُوا فِي ابْتِغَاءِ الْقَوْمِ ۖ إِنْ تَكُونُوا تَأْلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَأْلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأْلَمُونَ ۖ وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَرْجُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

    Translation by words

    وَلَا
    And (do) not
    تَهِنُوا۟
    be weak
    فِى
    in
    ٱبْتِغَآءِ
    pursuit
    ٱلْقَوْمِ
    (of) the people.
    إِن
    If
    تَكُونُوا۟
    you are
    تَأْلَمُونَ
    suffering,
    فَإِنَّهُمْ
    then indeed, they
    يَأْلَمُونَ
    are (also) suffering
    كَمَا
    like what
    تَأْلَمُونَ
    you are suffering,
    وَتَرْجُونَ
    while you (have) hope
    مِنَ
    from
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    مَا
    what
    لَا
    not
    يَرْجُونَ
    they hope.
    وَكَانَ
    And is
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah
    عَلِيمًا
    All-Knowing,
    حَكِيمًا
    All-Wise.

    And do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy. If you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering, but you expect from Allah that which they expect not. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
