Sura 4 An-Nisa (The Women), ayah 38

  1. وَالَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَلَا بِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۗ وَمَنْ يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاءَ قَرِينًا

    Translation by words

    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    And those who
    يُنفِقُونَ
    spend
    أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ
    their wealth
    رِئَآءَ
    to be seen
    ٱلنَّاسِ
    (by) the people
    وَلَا
    and not
    يُؤْمِنُونَ
    they believe
    بِٱللَّهِ
    in Allah
    وَلَا
    and not
    بِٱلْيَوْمِ
    in the Day
    ٱلْءَاخِرِ
    the Last,
    وَمَن
    and whoever
    يَكُنِ
    has
    ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
    the Shaitaan
    لَهُۥ
    for him
    قَرِينًا
    (as) companion -
    فَسَآءَ
    then evil
    قَرِينًا
    (is he as) a companion.

    And (also) those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.
