Sura 4 An-Nisa (The Women), ayah 62

  1. فَكَيْفَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَاءُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلَّا إِحْسَانًا وَتَوْفِيقًا

    Translation by words

    فَكَيْفَ
    So how
    إِذَآ
    when
    أَصَٰبَتْهُم
    befalls them
    مُّصِيبَةٌۢ
    disaster
    بِمَا
    for what
    قَدَّمَتْ
    sent forth
    أَيْدِيهِمْ
    their hands
    ثُمَّ
    then
    جَآءُوكَ
    they come to you
    يَحْلِفُونَ
    swearing
    بِٱللَّهِ
    by Allah,
    إِنْ
    "Not
    أَرَدْنَآ
    we intended
    إِلَّآ
    except
    إِحْسَٰنًا
    good
    وَتَوْفِيقًا
    and reconciliation."

    So how (will it be) when disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forth and then they come to you swearing by Allah, "We intended nothing but good conduct and accommodation."
