Sura 59 Al-Hashr (The Exile), ayah 10
-
وَالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
Translation by words
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- جَآءُو
- came
- مِنۢ
- from
- بَعْدِهِمْ
- after them
- يَقُولُونَ
- they say,
- رَبَّنَا
- "Our Lord,
- ٱغْفِرْ
- forgive
- لَنَا
- us
- وَلِإِخْوَٰنِنَا
- and our brothers
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- سَبَقُونَا
- preceded us
- بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ
- in faith,
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- تَجْعَلْ
- put
- فِى
- in
- قُلُوبِنَا
- our hearts
- غِلًّا
- any rancor
- لِّلَّذِينَ
- towards those who
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believed.
- رَبَّنَآ
- Our Lord,
- إِنَّكَ
- indeed You
- رَءُوفٌ
- (are) Full of Kindness,
- رَّحِيمٌ
- Most Merciful."
And (there is a share for) those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts (any) resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."
59:10
