Sura 59 Al-Hashr (The Exile), ayah 17

  1. فَكَانَ عَاقِبَتَهُمَا أَنَّهُمَا فِي النَّارِ خَالِدَيْنِ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ الظَّالِمِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَكَانَ
    So will be
    عَٰقِبَتَهُمَآ
    (the) end of both of them,
    أَنَّهُمَا
    that they
    فِى
    (will be) in
    ٱلنَّارِ
    the Fire
    خَٰلِدَيْنِ
    abiding forever
    فِيهَا
    therein.
    وَذَٰلِكَ
    And that
    جَزَٰٓؤُا۟
    (is the) recompense
    ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
    (of) the wrongdoers.

    So the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrong-doers.
