Sura 5 Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread), ayah 20
-
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنْبِيَاءَ وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُلُوكًا وَآتَاكُمْ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
Translation by words
- وَإِذْ
- And when
- قَالَ
- said
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- لِقَوْمِهِۦ
- to his people,
- يَٰقَوْمِ
- "O my people,
- ٱذْكُرُوا۟
- remember
- نِعْمَةَ
- (the) Favor
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- upon you
- إِذْ
- when
- جَعَلَ
- He placed
- فِيكُمْ
- among you
- أَنۢبِيَآءَ
- Prophets
- وَجَعَلَكُم
- and made you
- مُّلُوكًا
- kings
- وَءَاتَىٰكُم
- and He gave you
- مَّا
- what
- لَمْ
- not
- يُؤْتِ
- He (had) given
- أَحَدًا
- (to) anyone
- مِّنَ
- from
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- the worlds.
And (mention, O Muhammad), when Moses said to his people, "O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you when He appointed among you prophets and made you possessors and gave you that which He had not given anyone among the worlds.

Translation: Saheeh International
