Sura 5 Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread), ayah 54

  1. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَنْ يَرْتَدَّ مِنْكُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لَائِمٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

    Translation by words

    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
    O you
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    who
    ءَامَنُوا۟
    believe!
    مَن
    Whoever
    يَرْتَدَّ
    turns back
    مِنكُمْ
    among you
    عَن
    from
    دِينِهِۦ
    his religion,
    فَسَوْفَ
    then soon
    يَأْتِى
    (will be) brought
    ٱللَّهُ
    (by) Allah
    بِقَوْمٍ
    a people
    يُحِبُّهُمْ
    whom He loves
    وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ
    and they love Him,
    أَذِلَّةٍ
    humble
    عَلَى
    towards
    ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
    the believers
    أَعِزَّةٍ
    (and) stern
    عَلَى
    towards
    ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
    the disbelievers;
    يُجَٰهِدُونَ
    striving
    فِى
    in
    سَبِيلِ
    (the) way
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah
    وَلَا
    and not
    يَخَافُونَ
    fearing
    لَوْمَةَ
    the blame
    لَآئِمٍ
    (of) a critic.
    ذَٰلِكَ
    That
    فَضْلُ
    (is the) Grace
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah,
    يُؤْتِيهِ
    He grants
    مَن
    whom
    يَشَآءُ
    He wills.
    وَٱللَّهُ
    And Allah
    وَٰسِعٌ
    (is) All-Encompassing,
    عَلِيمٌ
    All-Knowing.

    O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion - Allah will bring forth (in place of them) a people He will love and who will love Him (who are) humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
