  1. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ لَوَّوْا رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُمْ مُسْتَكْبِرُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذَا
    And when
    قِيلَ
    it is said
    لَهُمْ
    to them,
    تَعَالَوْا۟
    "Come,
    يَسْتَغْفِرْ
    will ask forgiveness
    لَكُمْ
    for you
    رَسُولُ
    (the) Messenger
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah."
    لَوَّوْا۟
    They turn aside
    رُءُوسَهُمْ
    their heads
    وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ
    and you see them
    يَصُدُّونَ
    turning away
    وَهُم
    while they
    مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ
    (are) arrogant.

And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.
