Sura 64 At-Taghabun (The Mutual Disillusion), ayah 5

أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Translation by words

- come to you
- نَبَؤُا۟
- (the) news
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (of) those who
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- مِن
- from
- قَبْلُ
- before?
- فَذَاقُوا۟
- So they tasted
- وَبَالَ
- (the bad) consequence
- أَمْرِهِمْ
- (of) their affair,
- وَلَهُمْ
- and for them
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- أَلِيمٌ
- painful.
Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.
