Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 39

  1. وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا صُمٌّ وَبُكْمٌ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ ۗ مَنْ يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَنْ يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

    Translation by words

    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    And those who
    كَذَّبُوا۟
    rejected
    بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
    Our Verses
    صُمٌّ
    (are) deaf
    وَبُكْمٌ
    and dumb
    فِى
    in
    ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
    the darkness[es].
    مَن
    Whoever
    يَشَإِ
    wills
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah -
    يُضْلِلْهُ
    He lets him go astray
    وَمَن
    and whoever
    يَشَأْ
    He wills -
    يَجْعَلْهُ
    He places him
    عَلَىٰ
    on
    صِرَٰطٍ
    (the) way,
    مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
    (the) straight.

    But those who deny Our verses are deaf and dumb within darknesses. Whomever Allah wills - He leaves astray; and whomever He wills - He puts him on a straight path.
