Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 139
-
إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَاطِلٌ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Translation by words
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- these,
- مُتَبَّرٌ
- destroyed
- مَّا
- (is) what
- هُمْ
- they
- فِيهِ
- (are) in it
- وَبَٰطِلٌ
- and vain
- مَّا
- (is) what
- كَانُوا۟
- they used to
- يَعْمَلُونَ
- do."
Indeed, those (worshippers) - destroyed is that in which they are (engaged), and worthless is whatever they were doing."
7:139
Translation: Saheeh International
