Sura 7 Al-A'raf (The Heights), ayah 72

  1. فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا ۖ وَمَا كَانُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ
    So We saved him
    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    and those
    مَعَهُۥ
    with him
    بِرَحْمَةٍ
    by Mercy
    مِّنَّا
    from Us.
    وَقَطَعْنَا
    And We cut off
    دَابِرَ
    the roots
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    (of) those who
    كَذَّبُوا۟
    denied
    بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
    Our Signs,
    وَمَا
    and not
    كَانُوا۟
    they were
    مُؤْمِنِينَ
    believers.

    So We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us. And We eliminated those who denied Our signs, and they were not (at all) believers.
